Meet Lori & Dorothee – The Creative Duo Behind Camera Ready
Lori and Dorothee met on a Brooklyn rooftop nearly two decades ago. That day, Lori was filming a green screen scene while Dorothee was performing a puppet show with a flying saucer. That unexpected moment sparked a creative partnership and lifelong friendship between two young artists.
Fast forward to today: Lori and Dorothee have joined forces to launch Camera Ready—a company dedicated to crafting imaginative, visually striking moments for families, kids, and events. As a filmmaker/animator and a set decorator/puppeteer, they bring a rich and unique visual style to every project. Their shared aesthetic has been shaped by two decades of film work, their love for storytelling, and the joy of raising their own children, Iso and Joyce.
